The Power of Showing Up (Even When You Don’t Feel Ready)

Mid-July always hits different.

It’s that moment in the year when you look up and realize, “Wait… how is the year halfway over already?” You start thinking about what you’ve accomplished, what you haven’t, and everything in between. There’s excitement… and there’s pressure.

But I want to share something that I’ve learned firsthand — not from reading a quote on Instagram, but from real-life moments where I had to choose courage over comfort:

You don’t have to feel ready to start. You just have to show up.

I remember when I made the decision to rebrand. It felt like too much at first. I had outgrown what I started with, but the idea of starting over — of showing up in a new way, of putting myself out there with more clarity and intention — made me nervous.

I didn’t have it all mapped out. I didn’t feel completely prepared. But I knew it was time.

So I showed up anyway.

Then came the 60-day promotion journey. Y’all — listen.

Posting twice a day for two months straight? That’s not for the faint of heart. There were days I had no idea what I was going to say. I felt tired. Overwhelmed. Unsure if it was even “working.”

But I stuck with it.

Because it wasn’t just about content — it was about commitment. It was about proving to myself that I could be consistent, that I could finish what I started, even when I wasn’t in the mood or in the mindset.

And here’s the thing I’ve learned through all of this:

Confidence doesn’t come first — consistency does. It’s not about waiting until you feel 100% ready. That moment may never come. It’s about showing up scared, unpolished, uncertain — but doing it anyway.

That’s where the real growth happens. That’s where you stretch. That’s where you see what’s actually possible.

I say all this to remind you:

You’re not behind. You’re not too late. You don’t need another certificate, another Canva refresh, or a full marketing plan to start moving. What you do need is a decision — to show up for yourself and the vision that’s been tugging at you.

And if you need help sorting through the chaos, building something solid, or just having someone in your corner to hold you accountable, I’d love to work with you.

🎯 My 3-month coaching program is open for enrollment — and this is the final round of the year before I step back for my annual fall break. We kick things off August 1st.

In these three months, we’ll bring clarity to your brand, create a realistic strategy, and build the confidence to show up online like you own it — because you do.

📅 Book a consultation now so we can talk through your goals and see if it’s a good fit. Don’t let another year go by feeling stuck in the same spot.

Let’s build something real. Let’s build you.

With heart,
